Gun Violence Awareness

Layout Design This zine was created to inform individuals on gun violence and its presence in our country. As a person who has experienced this type of violence, I found it important to share with those who are unaware of the seriousness of this situation. Inspired by graphic designer Shepard Fairy, I took and edited my own photos to resemble his art style. I made the cover into a strong statement by positioning my models aim towards the front. Moreover, I used the complementary color scheme of blue and orange to not only create contrast but invite a deeper meaning behind them. Orange is the color used for gun violence awareness while blue symbolizes the sadness associated with this form of violence.
